The weather is finally cooling down. The sweaters and plaid shirts have appeared. And the pumpkins are at the Farmer’s Market. You know that it’s time for Pumpkin Spiced flavor on everything.

Don’t run off to your coffee shop for a pricey, sugar-filled pumpkin coffee. Make your own at home with Grade 1, Organic Majestic Blends coffee!

We recommend using Ponderosa French Roast for this one because its big, bold flavor stands up well to the added spices.

Recipe: Majestic Blends Pumpkin Coffee

First, you’ll need to make your DIY Pumpkin Spice Blend:

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Stir together all four ground spices. Place in a sealed jar for up to six months to use in all recipes calling for pumpkin spice.

Brew your coffee:

2 Ponderosa SuperPods brewed at strongest level OR Ponderosa whole beans ground fine and brewed as two shots of espresso

Pour into a cup.

Mix together in a saucepan:

  • 2 cups of milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, soy, etc.)
  • 2.5 tablespoons of pumpkin of puree
  • 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract

Heat on medium heat on the stove to about 155 degrees, stirring occasionally. If you have a hand frother or espresso machine you can froth your milk.

Pour milk into the espresso cup and add froth to the top. Sprinkle with a pinch of pumpkin spice. Enjoy!
